ABOUT US
world1 is a field institution for unconventional founders before they become consensus. We find disproportionately spikey profiles and forge them into category-defining founders. The strongest get surfaced to our board of investors and operators. Accepted founders go through a structured program that pressure-tests their market, narrative, GTM, product, and investor readiness.
We are backed by Appli AI and a growing network of investors and VCs across North America writing minimum $100k checks into world1 graduates.
The vision is cohorts running city by city — Toronto, San Diego, Austin, Vancouver, Boston, and beyond. growth partners are how that network gets built on the ground.
THE ROLE
Growth partners at world1 are each assigned to a specific region.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Founder acquisition: finding serious pre-seed founders in your region and online communities and directing them to world1.dev.
• Community: building world1 presence in your city across LinkedIn, X, Discord, university clubs, and in person.
• Content and social growth: amplifying world1 posts, engaging in relevant conversations, contributing to the content pipeline on LinkedIn and X.
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Partnerships: identifying accelerators, university programs, and founder communities that could send world1 founders or collaborate with us. warm them up and hand off.
• Escalation: surface any strategic opportunity, investor signal, or partnership with real upside directly to the CEO.
WHO YOU ARE
• Plugged into founder communities in your city or online. you know where serious pre-seed founders actually are.
• You move fast. a referral that sits for three days is a dead referral.
• You can have a real conversation with a founder without pitching them. you know what good looks like.
• You want to be inside an institution being built in real time, not just earn a commission.
• You have something to show. doesn't have to be a company. just something that proves you execute.
COMPENSATION
• $50 per founder you refer who gets accepted and confirms their spot. cohort 1 rate.
• Rate scales proportionally as the program fee increases. fee moves from $100 to $250 after the first 10 clients, then increases with each funded outcome. your per-referral rate moves with it.
• Growth partners who actively facilitate introductions between world1 founders and investors or operators in the world1 circle are eligible for rate increases of up to 80% above the base referral rate, based on quality and outcome of the introduction.
• Paid within 5 business days of confirmed payment.
• No base during the pilot. After the first cohort, compensation includes salary, equity, and role scope is set based on output and fit.
