We're looking for a motivated Blockchain Engineer who is excited to work on real-world blockchain applications and help build the infrastructure powering the future of global payments.
What You'll Do
• Develop and maintain blockchain-based applications and backend services.
• Build and integrate smart contracts for payment and settlement workflows.
• Integrate wallets, blockchain APIs, and stablecoin payment rails.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve blockchain infrastructure and application performance.
• Stay current with developments across Ethereum, Layer 2 networks, and blockchain technologies.
What We're Looking For
• Recent graduate (within the past 1–2 years) from an accredited Canadian college or university with a diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience developing software in one or more of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, or Solidity.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, Ethereum, smart contracts, or decentralized applications.
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, databases, and cloud development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Solidity or other smart contract languages.
• Knowledge of Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Solana, or other blockchain ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Web3 libraries such as ethers.js or web3.js.
• Personal blockchain projects, hackathons, internships, or open-source contributions.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must:
• Identify as a woman.
• Be under 30 years of age.
• Be a recent graduate (within 1–2 years of completing studies) from an accredited Canadian institution (college diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D.).
• Be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or a protected person/refugee with legal authorization to work in Ontario. International students on study or post-graduation work permits are not eligible.
• Meet the eligibility requirements of the applicable employment funding program.
