Lead AI Engineer

Agriprix is building an AI-native, agent-based marketplace that transforms how suppliers and buyers trade agricultural products. We are looking for an ML Engineer to build the core AI systems of the platform, from matching, ranking, and recommendation engines to LLM-powered workflows and AI agents integrated directly into the product. We’re looking for an ML Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building core AI systems such as matching, ranking, recommendation engines, LLM-powered workflows, and AI agents integrated directly into digital products. The ideal candidate should be comfortable designing intelligent systems that improve marketplace discovery, decision quality, and user experience, combining machine learning expertise with solid software engineering and product thinking. Key requirements:     •    Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals     •    Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and model development     •    Experience building recommendation, ranking, matching, or personalization systems     •    Familiarity with LLM applications, prompt orchestration, and agent-based workflows     •    Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and retrieval systems     •    Strong understanding of statistics, experimentation, and model evaluation     •    Experience working with APIs, databases, and data pipelines     •    Familiarity with cloud environments and production-grade system design     •    Ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code     •    Strong problem-solving skills and systems thinking     •    Experience translating product needs into practical AI solutions     •    Ability to work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
